Red Wing - Sir

Since 1905 has Red Wing Shoe Company made functional leather boots for work use. Their standard is timeless design, quality and an impressive durability, and this has, among other things, been part of the recipe for their success. More than 1.2 million pairs are each produced in over 100 countries worldwide. At the beginning of the twentieth century, a shoe salesman watched Red Wing, Minnesota named, Charles Beckman, a need among the local population for footwear that was specially designed for the demanding work in various industries such as agriculture, mining and forestry. The workflow of the various jobs required footwear that was strong enough to survive the harsh working conditions, but Charles Beckman's vision extended beyond just hard-wearing footwear. He wanted to create a boot that was comfortable enough for the busy workers who had to use them for many hours of hard physical work. Beckman set out to develop a work boot that could meet these needs, and in 1905 he started, Red Wing Shoes that were to set a new standard for leather boots in the future.
